I went one to a lab at Cornell Agricultural Extension in The Bronx and I was amazed to see the set up. They used oregano plants (big leaf) to filter the water and the fish were amazing in size. Also Tilapia. The set up was indoors but every corner was utilized. It was worth the time to visit.

well maybe I misunderstood... I thought you meant that the veggies were growing in the tanks (above) with the fish, but the pictures look like maybe you just use the fish water to water the garden?

These are pictures in Haiti - the system is not yet complete - we have to do it bit by bit due to being able to get supplies there. The way ours is here in our yard we have grow beds. I'm going to see if I can add some pics from our system...
