It's Memorial Day weekend and I am not getting to do what I want to do!
Waa.....
The Hubby decided we needed flower boxes for the fence line, the garden needed more plants and the pool had to be up.
I had to buy a new pool, which has a leak along the seam.
The veggies got planted. The baskets and boxes got planted!
All I wanted to do was go to JoAnns and stock up on fabric, batting and thread and fondle some pretties....and maybe buy some and take advantage of their sale.
I told the hubby tomorrow is my day! Maybe I will see if any quilt shops are open or go to a bigger JoAnns and buy, buy and buy!!!!
But....I do give thanks to those that have served our country and enables me to be a brat about quilt shops.....
They are great and courageous people and my deepest respect goes out to all that have served.
Thankyou,
K
PS....I am shopping tomorrow and sewing up a storm!

Praying that you get to do some things on your list tomorrow, not anyone else's list! Get that Fabric, and fondle it, and plan and.... but don't forget why we have the day off!
I have the day planned also, and hope to actually get at parts of it! :?

Good for you! It rained all afternoon so I just had to sit inside and sew.
Darn, no yardwork to do, no need to water the plants and dh was happy to watch the races.

Looks like more rain today, another shot at the Charlotte race, I'm up early, and I haven't even looked at those sale items at Joanns. Of course I have no spending money right now.....have fun for me too
