Audio book
Just finished listening to ROOM........a new book, ordered from my library, glad I requested audio...it is very interesting...a child's story of survival of he and his mom. Listening to it was, in my estimation, so much more spellbinding than reading the story. Just thought I'd share.

voice was so compelling. If I read the book, maybe it would not have been so poignant in places........

We watched the movie a while back. Left me asking more questions
that just didn't seem to be "included" of course I am going to have
to request the audio book from one of my libraries.
Thanks for the reminder to get this book.
I started listening to books on tape over 22 years ago (maybe longer)
for me I love being able to get the intention of the "tone of voice" that
can be heard when listening to audiobooks.
When reading a book I find myself rereading certain parts over and over
using different tones of voices until I "find" that seems to be right.
Plus as said by others I can do other things while also getting in a good
book. If I am holding the book I can't do anything except hold it.

Love audio books. Allows you to multi-task. Always have one in my van and have found it helpful to pass the time on a long trip, as well as help keep me awake when I'm driving. Doesn't make me feel guilty "reading" either. :-)
