hi, y'all! i'm baaaack! thank you for the notes about olivia. i'm already going thru separation anxiety and i still have 3 more days with her! boy, are my dogs going to get extra lovies!
today i was too good because yesterday i had a p'nut bar and i've been feeling guilty. but for dessert i had a small hot fudge sundae at dq, which means just ice cream and sauce. since i never do this, i licked the bowl clean. (hanging my head in shame, but secretly still delighted with how good it was). maintaining is the very best i can hope for!
i met my daughter's boy friend. hoooeeee, he's very attractive and very nice!!! caliente!!! bad mommy. bad!bad!
spea`king of caliente, it has averaged 104 every day we've been here. it really hasn't bothered me much because there is very little humidity. but you get out there and move around at all and it saps your strength very quickly. i saw roofers working and felt really bad for them! what a lousy job for this time and place!! well, hopefully the heat will melt my thighs. i can always hope!
i had tons of comments i wanted to make, but by the time i get to the end of the comments i forget who i want to say what to. for those of you doing well! yay!! keep it up! for those of you having a hard time--take a deep breath, tell yourself you can do this. and then prove yourself right! good night/good morning!

Irishrose - When I asked my doc for a referal to a specialist I suggested an endocrinologist but he said no that he would like me to see the nerologist first to rule out some concerns he has so I guess I see the nerologist first.

Congrats to all those who are loosing. Nancia just think how many pounds you will be down when you weigh without holding Olivia! lol

I haven't weighed for a couple of days - think I won't weigh again until I need to weigh to start Sept. That way I won't be fixating on my weight. I'm trying to keep my calories down but when I have a hypoglycemic episode and have to eat sugary junk to get the levels yp so do the calories. I have good intentions regarding exercise but am so tired that I just can't seem to get motivated.

Well Have a nice day everyone. God Bless!

My little dog, Sammy, died this morning. He was 11, my blonde chihuahua. I rescued him from the dog pound, someone had starved him and beaten him, he had internal injuries. I brought him home and he was bonded to me for 10 years.

He died of a heart attack. He went quickly. He had been on steroids all of his life, he was terribly allergic to grass.

    Good morning to all...

Purpleman....so so sorry to hear about your loss. My heart goes out to you. I don't know what I would do if anything happened to my Kitty Girl. We can get so attached.((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))) to you.

Yesterday was a very good day for me. A local sports store is sponsoring a training program for anyone wanting to walk/jog a half marathon/marathon. I ran a marathon in my younger days (1989) and have been thinking about doing another one. Well, last night I joined the training program with the sports store and I trotted (not run and not jog) 3 miles. Felt pretty good. Got a little warm towards the end, but they had water stations along they way so got plenty of water. This morning I did 3 miles again. I am feeling pretty good right now :D could this be a runners high?

I realize that I will be burning more calories so will have to change my eating plan. However, I think I will wait until the 31 for that....end of this challenge

Ya'll have a wonderful, blessed day.
