I love checking out the avatars while reading all the info.
How did you choose what to use?

I didn't have one for a long time. I saw a pic of Emily from The Corps Bride. She is my favorite Burton's character so I picked it. You can change them as often as you like, but I find that some people identify the poster by the avatar. I only recognize a few.

I received an e-mail with tons of beautiful pictures, but when I saw the birds flying in a happy face pattern I was amazed that someone could capture that on film.

It is a one in a million shot!

As for my saying, I saw an All in the Family show years ago, where there was a learning disabled character that actually showed Archie how to do something.

Since my brother has Downes Syndrome and I have learned a lot from him, the saying has always stayed with me.

"Every man is my superior, in that I may learn from him!"

It could relate to your personality or passion, I see a lot of folks use their quilts. Lace

If I can ever get a group pic of all 6 of my grandkids standing still, I'm changing my avatar to that! Until then, I love to look at everyone's quilts so I posted one too.

Since joining I've used the pic of my dog, Patches. I like looking at the avatars and look for familiar ones so I know the poster. I figure if I don't change mine, everyone will know it's me and can skip over my post if they want.

Mine is the "narcoleptic bat" that I found in downtown Dallas one day. I use it because it makes me laugh.

I will probably change it one day if I find something else. (and remember how to upload pictures)

Mine is my dog, having fun in his first snowfall ever. I will never change it.
