I wasn't offended by it at all. I'm sorry people complained and I'm sorry anyone has to apologize for for it at all.

Oh well, life goes on!

This is my view: this is a public forum. There are difference sections, yes, and the Chit-Chat section is a place to discuss something other than quilting. But, this place has always had a family feel—rated G. I like G for forums. It made it homey and welcoming for the younger girls who want to learn about quilts, but who read other posts, too. It’s been a safe place, a butterflies and flowers place. For many of us, that’s what makes it so awesome. That’s what we need when we get back home from whatever we do all day and have a few minutes to relax and read some posts. If I want rated R or worse, I know where to go, but I’ve never wanted it here. Some have a reputation for posting things I do not care to read. I try to not fill my mind with junk. Once something is seen—we remember the vision always. When finally relaxing for a few minutes during a five minute lunch break at work, or at home between activities, I’ll read random posts. I read the post in question a few times—even added a reply. But, where it went disappointed me greatly. Of course I can choose to not read it. But, knowing it was there made this an ugly place. I worried about younger kids randomly reading posts and clicking on pages and having some of those photos or words stuck in their heads forever. So, yes, the post bugged me greatly. It seemed very disrespectful to the admin who tries to run a tight ship here, after all, even politics and religion are not allowed. There have been some jokes and posts I don’t feel belong here—but I just pay attention to who starts them and never open their posts. But, the one post was so out of hand. This is not the place for such dialog, such pictures. Polly Anna? Yes. And protector of children and one who loves goodness. If you want/need to wallow in such thoughts/photos, this place is not the place to do it.

Apology accepted.

I have been chastised and I am truly sorry. I didn't realize that young children were on this forum. My mind doesn't usually wander to the gutter, and it won't again on this board.
