Spent the first night in my new house, June 11th, with tornadoes all around me! That's what I get for moving to tornado alley although Iowa gets it's share of the darn things! Arrived back home to my Iowa home and found water in my basement and rain gauge said 5 inches of rain in the 3 days I was gone. At least it was clean water. 2 days of sunshine ahead! Yippee!

It passed through Colorado the last few days and now we are getting sunny weather. Wish I could send you some of it right now. It sure feels good after four days of icky weather.

We live in Kingsport, TN and have had a lot of rain and storms lately. We spent this past weekend camping at Hungry Mother State Park. We had several storms while we were there. One storm was quite severe and scared our little granddaughter to tears. We, and all the campers, were very lucky and no damage was done to anything.

A severe storm passed through our area today with lots of heavy rain and lightning. Some areas next to us were without electric for a while.

The storm has come and gone, just got more rain and some wind. The big storm went to the south of us.

I don't like storms. Also my dog is scared of them!

I am right on the Illinois/Indiana border. We get that weather first and send it right on to you! Hope you like leftovers! That one today was howling through here.
