They are just so awesome to see in the wild for real. Not in a book or on TV. :-D :-D :-D

I live in southern British Columbia and I see them all the time because this is one of their territories and every now and then one will fly over my building. I live right on the Fraser River, so they are always close by, and what a glorious sight to see them in flight.

I lived on Barnston Island in the Fraser River from 1974-1976. Loved the isolation in the middle of the big city!! Not a lot of wildlife on the island, but the beavers on the mainland side of the river would build dams and flood the road where we got off the ferry.

We see a lot of bald eagles and golden eagles here in Eastern Montana and I am in awe every time I see one!

Aren't they beautiful. We have quite a few in Florida and we saw one swoop down and grab a fish and take to the top of a pine tree .The picture is fantastic.

I live right on the Arkansas River and we have 4 (2 pair) that live basically in my back pasture. They are really amazing to watch. They nest in the trees on the river bank.

Eagles are really COOL!!! When I grew up up here there were none (dating myself?), only old nests, but now to most young people they are really common! I still want to stop the car and just watch them when I see them flying! Even my own kids just take them for granted!!!

Isn't it wonderful that they are making such a comeback. People all over the US are seeing them now. I had never seen one growing up in IL but they are along the rivers there also.
