Does anyone follow baseball? I grew up in St. Louis within walking distance of the original Sportsmans Park, and am a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan. I love this time of year with playoffs. I just watched the Cardinals win the second game of the playoffs.

WOW - small world. Don't really know how far we lived from Sportsmans Park but I do remember going there with my Dad and he taught me how to keep score on an elaborate form. We lived in the city then, but moved to the suburbs and I graduated from Riverview Gardens High School in 1964.

I've been a Cardinals fan my entire life ~ watch all their games on TV and hate for the season to end as there's not much else on TV that I care for! Go Cards!!

Small world. After we were married in 1961 we lived about four blocks from Sportsman's Park. Lived there for a couple of years, remember it was not a good thing to go out on Saturdays when there was a game. No parking place when we returned. Actually caught someone pushing our car up so he could park.
Didn't really follow baseball then. We have started following it now. We have a superb team and usually do.
I love it when they are winning, a real big deal around St. Louis.

As you can tell from my location who I am for. We are great fans and were season ticket holders at one time for several years. My grown children have followed us as being loyal fans.
I wasn't around for Sportmans Park but DH was. He loved it.
The Sportsman's Park site is now home to the Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club.
