Bathmat anyone?

I made these with denim. Started out with the idea of making an abstract wall hanging, then decided it would go with the new bathroom paint. Ended up making the big one solid but reversible...light on one side, dark on the other. We don't have any slipping but if you do would definitely recommend some sort of sticky backing.

I pick up pillow shams at resale shops. Can get two matching bathmats that way. Also a great way to practice FMQ. I don't always put batting inside.

I make " roping" out of old tee shirts. Snip up, near bottom of shirt and then start pulling. We use these ropes for tying up packages, tying up the shrubs, the indoor plants, securing boxes, etc. The rope stretches a little and is almost impossible to break. Wonder if you could make a punchhook rug with it, using a tight latchhook backing? Might be worth a try.
