My other camera disappeared or got stolen so I haven't had a camera for a while. I bought a new one a couple weeks ago and I am amazed by the clarity and the quality of the pictures I have taken. Just tooling around in the backyard and got some amazing shots :D I just wanted to share the ones I posted on DA.

    Those are gorgeous, crisp photos.
Can I ask what camera you bought?
I've always wanted to learn photography but I don't have an "eye" for composition.

The first one is just gorgious. It is the sort of picture that draws you to it. The last the black and white is very striking. Very good job. Keep going you definitely have a talented eye for photography.

I am guessing you have a new Nikon camera. Lovely shots. Yes, there is strength in your black & white shot; beauty contrast there. You lead the viewer into the picture and your picture is divided into thirds, the way I was taught.

Love to see more of your pictures.

Nikon COOLPIX S6100. Its $189 at Wal-Mart. A bit pricey, but it is SO well worth it. I'm hoping I can get some cool shots with it when I go see Kittie next weekend.

I got some great concert pics by shooting the big screen with the performers on stage in the foreground so be sure to shoot the big screen too :-)

I've been to the venue they're playing at when I went to see them play last year. They didn't have big screens. Only time I've seen big screens with Kittie was when they were playing at a rock festival in Madison...and there was mud on them from idiots having mud fights in the mosh pits.
