Default Been MIA

Yes, I'm still alive and kicking. Busy, busy, busy here.
Not only trying to balance my life and visiting grandbabies and trying to get some sewing done, we have decided to buy our Forever Home.
Yep! Scarey deal, but we did it. We are under contract for a house in Quarryville, PA. Nice area, quiet and peaceful. Just how I like it. Stress and drama free!!
There is a huge room for all my sewing and I don't have to worry about hubby being bothered with any of it. Kitchen is beautiful and I will have my formal dining room. There are 2 livingrooms, so I can actually have a reading area, and not have it intrude on a family room. There's a fireplace, it's gas, but that's ok. I'd rather have wood, but really, do I actually want to haul wood in when it's -20 outside? Nope!

Anyway, we are excited. Closing will be in June, we are giving the lady some time since she is a recent widow and we don't want her to feel rushed. We aren't in a hurry to move, we were just wanting to buy now before rates went up and we really got a great deal on this house.

So, there ya go. That's why I've been MIA

congrats! I was actually thinking of you last week - hadn't seen any posts. glad it's for a great reason. I'm moving in a few weeks, too. remodeling my recent purchase - not a forever home like yours, though.... probably about a 5-10 year home.
