Question Bernina Stitch Regulator Red Light

My new to me Bernina 440QE has a BSR that isn't working. Everything I read or watch talks about the Red light that comes on when working. I see in the display that it is connected, but no red light. But it only beeps, will not stitch.
Any one else have this problem, or know how to fix the issue? Thank you.....

The red light will be between the foot and the fabric if it is working. The display should say BSR when it is plugged into the socket. There are 2 settings for the BSR, one setting works only when the fabric is moved and another that stitches when you press the foot pedal. You may need to find a Bernina dealer to help you understand your machine.

I appreciate your reply. There is NO red light. The display sees the BSR 1 and BSR 2. The Red light is the problem, it does not come "ON". I was wondering if there may be a battery that has lost a charge. My Pfaff has an internal battery, that is where that idea came from. I live in Louisiana swamp country, no dealers close to me. I have done all you have recommended, with no luck.
Thank you, Loozycat

Thanks for your help. It is working as designed. The problem was I was going too slow, after speeding up, red light popped on and away I went.
thank you again
