Default Bernina virtuoso 160 Purchased at auction

I had my sister bid on a bernina virtuoso 160 at an auction. I won it for $190+auction fee of $25. It did not come with foot pedal or knee lift which purchased fro dealer for about $140. Machine ran well except it would not pick up bobbin thread to stitch. Timing us off. To repair and replace hook, fix timing. Service is about $200. Have I just made a bad decision or is this machine worth all this further investment? I have an older mechanical bernina 1030 that I LOVE!

Oh no, not a bad decision at all! I have the 150 and it's still a dream to sew on. You will love that machine!!!
Mine cost almost 2000 in 2001. You got a deal!!!!!!!

You may want to check eBay for those things that are missing.
