I was sad when I saw this last night. She was one of a kind - RIP

She was a wonderful lady and dealt with a lot of her own issues. She is to be greatly admired.

Thank you for posting this article. I knew next to nothing about her before reading it - her era of history was never covered in school, either as "past" or "current" events. We sort of had a blank period between the 1940's WWII in history classes and the 90's in social studies.
