I hadn't heard anything about her in a long time. But just last week I was teaching the Billie Lauder way of making scrappy 4 patches to my friends at guild. They were so impressed that I was asked to teach the method to the whole guild in September. There may still be a you tube video where she shows this method. I met Billie at the quilt show in Paducah years ago, bought her copy machine copied book, and had her autograph it for me. She had such a joyous personality.

I just looked it up and I have 13 of her books. I guess I really liked her.
