Decided to make biscotti cookies for neighbors. We give each other cookies for Christmas. I used Cooks.com recipes and one my daughter used.
Tops of cookie log come out of the first baking cracked - is this supposed to be?
They taste good but not the best looking. My chocolate snow balls (chocolate dough rolled in confectioners sugar come out beautiful) These will be included on plate. Any hints which I should have known beforehand. Thanks

No hints....but do up a chocolate icing....Melt choco chips with a bit of shortening, then just dip the tops in the choco...it'll hide a multitude of problems... :)

checked out the recipe for Biscotti from BellaBoo and it is so simple to make.
Also her add'l hints are welcomed. Always can get answers from fellow 'quilters'
on this site. I'm so happy I found you all when looking for quilt patterns last September.
