Sue Fish, you do such a great job with the American Girl doll clothes. And you seem to have a very good eye for color combinations.

Thank you...my goal started off to use up most of the fabrics I had for so many years, then I got more and more into this and just having the best time...

I love seeing your doll outfits. Love the color combinations and styles of your creations. Something of the little girl stirs in me everytime I see them. Something like, "I want to play too."

That outfit is so cute that I wouldn't mind having one for myself! Ha! It looks like you need to change your profile information now that you have moved. I also am in NC so Welcome! Did you move to find warmer weather or to be near the grandkids?

I love the dress! That is the type of dress I look for every year for myself but have trouble finding.

Very cute! Reminds me of the days when I made matching outfits for Barbie and my daughter.

we should have a continuing american girl doll thread, and leave it open to all the doll lovers. i have 2 american girls, and then i have a rainbow of other 18" dolls, including 3 boys. they are so much fun to make clothes for. i have not given up dolls. when my daughter was "too old" for her a.g. dolls she gave them to me. i will never be too old for them! lol
love your outfits! please start a thread for us!!

i think the process involves asking the admin for permission and setting upi guidelines. ask patrece how to go about it.

That is a cute outfit. Hopefully it will spur me on to make the two outfits I need to make for May. I make 2 outfits each month - my granddaughter's will get these as Christmas gifts in December. Thought making a couple a month would take the pressure off later.
