We certainly can take ourselves too seriously, can't we. My mom keeps reminding me that quilting should be fun. I agree.

I have that book, it's very funny. The author is Lisa Boyer and she has another book called "Stash Envy," that is also very funny. She is definitely not the quilt police, but a real person. :)

I have another book aimed towards husbands called" Help! I married a quilter" by Mark Hyland. This one is also funny.

I paid 1 cent on Amazon and with shipping for 3.99 I got it for $4.00. Can't beat that deal either. :)

After all of the totally dumb mistakes I made yesterday, it would be a big relief to read this book and feel better about that silly quilt I am trying to finish
