Did anyone else here watch the Boston Pops Fireworks? The music during the first part was fun and enjoyable. The fireworks were wonderful but the music they played during the fireworks was HORRIBLE! They played modern music....about people going to bed, love lost, etc....and very little patriotic music! They could have played all 5 of the armed services' theme songs, and there are so many patriotic songs I fail to understand why they played what they played!!!! Anyone else feel the same way??? :(

I didn't see it. I love patriotic music. So sad they didn't play that. It is the 4th of July after all.

I've watched the Boston Pops for years and always enjoy the show, the fireworks are great, I think they used to play patriotic music during the fireworks, this year music not so good.

Sadly, we didn't get the Boston Pops fireworks festival here this year (not that I could find, anyway). I have missed it for the past several years, and it is one concert and fireworks festivals that I do enjoy. Good way for people who don't want to fight the crowds to see the fireworks and enjoy some terrific music. Too bad they made some less-than-patriotic choices for the fireworks. I'll bet the Pops orchestra would be interested to hear your opinion.

I watched it and A Capitol Fourth. They should have taken the music from Capitol Fourth and Fireworks from Boston Pops!

I have to agree, the whole show was awful. After the Washington one we switched to New York and out of the 3 we liked New Yorks the best. Too bad about the music, didn't make sense to us either.
