    (I'm having computer issues (and typing with a broken finger) so I apologize if this is a double post)
    Does anyone know of a website where you can purchase and download a pattern for a bow tucks bag? Also, how difficult are they to make. I see so many pretty ones, I've decided I really "need" one.

    I don't know of any site where you can purchase and download the pattern....I purchased mine from the internet, but your local quilt shop might have it or order it for you......

    The purse is very easy to make....I've made three and plan to make another one.....Love mine!!

    thanks for the link. this purse is very basic. not with the multiple fabrics on the outside and no inside pockets. i'm holding out for the bow tucks pattern at my LQS.

    I looked at the free bow tuck, but it just didn't seem like enough info for me to make it. Ended up buying my pattern off of ebay for $ 8.50 and free shipping.

    Hi,
    I have made the Bow Tucks tote from this site by Penny Sturgess and they are really nice. The pattern number is PS 008. I don't know if you can download it or that you have to buy it ! Here is the link;

    that's NOT the bow tucks bag that we've all been making
    that sounds like a sloppy imitation with sloppy instructions

    and that's just my opinion, to each their own

    Which pattern is the recommended one? I love making purses but have not made this one as yet.
