I have made the mini and it is just the perfect size for a purse for me. I carry my wallet/checkbook, some hand lotion, my cell phone and sunglasses and still have plenty of room. I always get many compliments. I do have the regular size pattern and that will be the next one I make. I imagine I will use it when I need to carry several things with me...like to a teacher's mtg or to a 4H mtg.
Like others have said...I know from experience that no matter what the size of my purse, I have a tendency to fill it. LOL I am trying to 'downsize' what I carry with me.

Thank you so much for your advice. I think I'm leaning towards the mini...I don't need to carry much in mine either, except, I do! LOL I measured the purse I am now using and it's measurements are small than the mini, but it has a few outside zipper compartments. Do any of you have a problem with things falling out if it tips over? I'm thinking of a magnetic fastener, was thinking inside, but then again, a flap with a snap would look pretty cool too. Can't wait for the fabric to get here! Will have to order my pattern too!

Re: things falling out. Yes, I do have that problem especially if I have it sitting on the seat of the car and have to make a sudden stop. I am very bad about hooking the loop around the button so it is generally open. The next time I make one it will have a magnetic closure. A flap with a magnetic snap would be nice, also. I would not do another button and loop combination. It looks nice but it is just not me.
