    The bowl is beautiful! I enjoy woodcarving and love all types of wood. The bowl is truly special and I am glad that you have the writing on the bottom to remember the kinds of wood.

    When I got married in 1978 my Great-grandfather gave me the last bowl he did. It is treasured.

    You have beautiful treasure! My Papaw and Daddy both wrote like your Grandfather. I can pick their handwriting out so easily.

    What a treasure! I am so happy that you did get this. Something to pass on later down the road to grands or great-grands. It is beautiful! He does very nice work. :thumbup:
