Like a few others on here, my Dad (at 88), still turns bowls. He was asked to joing our state's League of Arts and Crafts but wanted to have fun, not a business. He donates them for non-profits to use as fundraisers. Makes me wonder...is there a quilting, wood working realtion?

I like to think so...each takes his/her own medium, takes it apart and puts it back together again, only in a new pattern. Why do we do it? Because we can! :)

I love 'your' bowl. I also collect personal artwork from friends and family. I just love the love in all of them.
