It's really nice of you to make them a quilt. Are you sure they'd appreciate it made of tornado fabric? If it were me, I'm not sure I'd want that reminder in the quilt....everyone's different, though.

I appreciate your comment. She would love it if it were made of toilet paper!

So sorry about your friend and her dog. So many people have had trajedies this year. Just a thought but the wizard of oz fabric may bring back memories she would rather forget.

So sorry about Bruiser with what looks like 2 broken legs, he must be having a struggle getting around. It's bad enough to lose so much to a tornado, but hard when our pets are injured. Best of luck to her and everyone else who got hit with the tornadoes.

Sorry, but, I too was a little surprised at your choice of fabric. I wouldn't want to be reminded of such a tragedy in my life. I pray for her and Bruisers recovery.

I'm so sorry for your friend's loss, and glad Bruiser made it, allbeit with injuries. These storms seem to be getting worse and worse, but thank goodness for all the people who pitch in and help others recover.

That was the first thing that came to my mind too!
