Buying fabric when you see it - NOW I understand!
#1
I am not a fan of buying fabric just because I like it - don't boo me for that!
HOWEVER, I am coming to very quickly realize that if there is something I want to make using the same fabrics that it's shown in - BUY IT NOW. My local LQS had the "Camelot - In the Beginning" book and fabrics - THEY ARE STUNNING. Well the fabric sold out in 2 weeks and they can't get anymore! I either have to buy it all on line and put it away for when I can get to it or resign myself to not making it. That thought makes me sad.
Next time - Damn the torpedos, full speed ahead!

Depending on what I am working on or how I feel about it. If I am passionate and fall in love with all the endorphines that follow I get it. If those don't happen, then I just admire. However, have you contacted Handcocks of Paducah to see if they can get it?

I know the feeling, except when I did go back, a few days later, they did have some of the fabric left, and I bought it. What had held me back in the first place was the price, but I could not stop thinking about how pretty it was. I figured I would not be able to think of anything else until I had that fabric in my hands.
