This is a new one for me. I'd never heard of it.

Sometimes straight pins just out of the package are hard to get through the fabric. Run them gently through your hair. This lubricates them just enough to make them easier to use.

Along time ago in a far away place we would do this to get the diaper pins to go thru the diapers. I just dated myself:) big time!

I guess I am dating myself also. I learned this from my mother. Both of daughters and 4 grands all used cloth diapers.
A baby with a cloth diaper is so sweet. Rubber pants are necessary.
