Like the elk.
Just came back from Canada &
saw a few. One young one was
even eating the flowers in the motel garden.

I so love the California Coast. Each part of it is prettier than the last part. It is such a fantastic road trip. I've been to Crescent City and remember the cute little lighthouse. Isn't it cut off from land during high tide? Thank you for sharing the great pictures. I didn't grow up by the ocean but I sure love it. I wish I was on Highway 1 or 101 right now.

beautiful. do you ever fram them??? when i'm on vacation, I always take a 'special' photo and then have it enlarged and frame it on my bedroom wall. when I go to sleep at night, I always look at it, so peaceful; just like your pics.
your pics look like postcards or puzzles.
thanks for sharing

don't elk have large horns if they are boys? Is this one just too young?

Is there an RV park? We are thinking of camping there too?
