Default can it be washed?

I found a really cute bunny that plays Jesus Loves Me. The speaker thing is one to push the correct place (not a wind up or battery operated). Being that it is used and is to go to a little person, can that be safely laundered without taking the music out of it? No doubt, it will need cleaning in the future, too. Wondering if anyone has experience with such used toys. I'm considering removing the speaker and installing velcro to put the speaker back after laundering but don't want to go to that if I don't really need to do so. There are no instructions as to this on the bunny, even though there are tags in place.

Since the music piece is a battery operated piece I would not wash it at all. The battery will eventually wear down and then you can removed the dead battery, sew it closed, and have a safe toy again. These types of toys are not meant to be washed. With the musical piece inside. Your idea of taking it out and putting it back in with velcro for future sound box replacement is good. I am not sure about what stuffing is in this kind of toy. It may not be washable. I would say not to put it in the washer. Hand washing the outside with a rag and some oxyclean may be a good bet.

I used dry shampoo on my girls stuffed animals. That worked great to get them looking like new. No water used at all.

wouldn't wash it--likely to ruin the electronics. Seems like few stuffed animals are "washable" today, they come out looking a mess.

Stuffed animals with sound/ animation areSpot Clean only- they cannot be submerged in water, they will never work again.
