Whatever they are, they are very nicely done.

Too clever Tartan and those who guessed bookmarks.

I made these to go on the Mothers' Day stall along with the lavender parasols that I showed previously. I will be interested to see how they sell. Many of us still like to hold a book and turn the pages.

A few years ago I made some in the shape of a heart. They are very handy. I read my kindle a lot so don't really need one. Yours are very nice.

Book marks. Made them, hated them. Went back to paper ones.

For bookmarks, I use the post-it type of tabs/flags. I can place it on the edge of the page exactly where I Ieft off. They do not fall out or off and one will usually "last" for a whole book.

For multiple column books, I use two flags - one on an outside edge of the page that sticks out and another one on the page where I want to refocus my attention.

I have found that some inks will lift off on to the flags.

I have gotten so dependent on using a flag as a marker, that as soon as I start reading a. Book, I get a flag to mark my progress.

I hate dog ears on books - especially library books.

When I went to public school, the books belonged to the school and were usually used for several years. We were very excited strongly told to not mark them up. Some people did, but I did not.

It still is hard for me to mark up my own books.
