If your legal signature is just your name printed, seems like that could lead to a lot of fraud.

why? People who can't write can make a mark like an x. Regular cursive can be forged too

It used to be that way. Now with docusign, I'm not sure. Of course all the electronics that "make things easier" may be why there is so much fraud now.
