Cancer

Yes, cancer is so very silent. I am living proof of that, because I look perfectly normal; yet I live with an incurable form of leukemia. Found out by accident during routine bloodwork. I just get tired easier than I used to. I know of 3 dear people who found out they had cancer and died in a matter of weeks after the diagnosis...the most recent being a 2nd. cousin who found out he had cancer on Monday and died on Thursday at the hospital where he had arrived for his first chemo treatment.

My DH's cancer was at stage II when it was discovered. Within one month after surgery to remove his left kidney and the giant sized tumor on and in it, the cancer went to a stage IV having invaded his lungs. So I believe the answer would be, yes it can.

Yes, my daughter had stage 4 malignant melanoma-which was INTERNAL in her abdomen-no skin lesions at all-when she was diagnosed, and died five months to the day of diagnoses! It had already spread throughout her brain and other organs. Cancer does not follow any rules-every case is different.
