Some weeks back, someone posted a question about quilters and their hobbies, which turned out to be clearly weighted in the direction of "quiet hobbies"--reading, gardening, needlework. Maybe cats fit in there somewhere as well. It does tend to make a picture, doesn't it? Having said that, one of the best quilters I know is an avid downhill skier and keeps three big dogs. Kind of nice that we come in all shapes, sizes and areas of interest.

I used to be acquainted with a cat in Maryland that had a job! She was a greeter in an old people's home.
She spent time in the lobby greeting visitors, but also comforted the residents.
It is just that kittens are fun and cats are comfortable to be around. They are affectionate mostly, and purr, and also comforting beings.
Psychologists say that having a pet is great for its owners mental health.

It is kind of funny when she forgets that there is a window between her and the squirrel.

Quilt for fun Grandma G
I would not want to live without a quilt or my 3 cats. I am moving to an apartmernt and it is hard to find one that will let you have more than 1 cat but I have. Some say why have 2 bedrooms?? Because I do a lot of quilting and like to sort out fabric. Thanks for listening.

My Avatar is my DGD, but I am a cat lover with two furbabies. They are litter mates, about 6 yo a male and a female. The female likes to be held like a baby. She would love if I walked around all day holding her. Her brother does not like to be held, but he sleeps with us. They are both sweeties.
