We only went away for one Christmas, and when I took our cat to his holiday home, I was amazed to find that the owner had put up a Christmas Tree complete with lights, so that the guests would feel at home! What is more, she was planning to give them Salmon for Christmas Dinner.

that's wonderful that places like that exist. I was always picky about who my fur babies and/or real babies stayed with. will give you great peace of mind. :D

Sound like a great place. I have someone to come in and feed the parrots and the dog goes to a place where he can go in and out during the day. Older couple that has been doing this forever and I feel comfortable with them. I feel bad leaving Brewster, but sometimes we just can not take him.

I especially like the bit about the local dialect, which is something of a joke in the UK as being the worst accent to have. Mine isn't too bad (I hope!) as I have lived abroad a lot!
