Default Ceramic Coasters Question

I just Mod Podged heavy duty paper to some ceramic tiles I bought yesterday to make coasters. They are fun and easy to do but after reading about it online it seems that a few coats of Mod Podge is not enough (even though Mod Podge is a sealant), and that I should be putting a waterproof sealant on as well... some people were disappointed that wet or hot cups stuck to the coaster. Of course, I would like to avoid that...ha. I only started using Mod Podge this week but already was thinking about making some as gifts if I could find out the name of a good sealant for this kind of thing.

Would love to know if you have done this and what you used after a few coats of Mod Podge.

Thanks so much! I appreciate it.

When I had a brownie troop we did this with clay plant pot saucers and pretty pictures from a calender for their parents for Christmas gifts.
