Speaking of global warming, I am sure glad, out here in CA, that we have global warming! I was born, raised and lived in this area for almost 75 years and I have never seen it so blasted cold. Just imagine how cold it would be if it weren't for global warming! lol

It's -13 (wind chills -38) here right now. I guess if there weren't any "global warming" we'd be ice cubes.

I have the new "led" bulb and like it. Doesn't ever get hot and although pricier than regular bulb, will last way longer. Those curly ones are nice but if it break...follow the direction given for disposal

DH bought several of the LED bulbs that equal 65watts, at $13 a bulb that is a little pricey with no guarantee of it lasting as long as it is stated on the package. And the light is not all that great compared to a regular light bulb.

What global warming? You are aware that the Poles - both north and south - are melting?
