We have all bought products where the translations to English were not to good! Elmo is a good example! Let's hope that word isn't supposed to be there!!!

I once got on a plane in Bangkok, Thailand, to fly home to the UK. The PA announcer hoped that we would all have a nice fright! All the English speaking passengers immediately burst out laughing.

How funny. The bottle of nail polish in my daughter's Christmas stocking said "keep away from frame"! She noticed it right away.

    LOL!!!

We once had a Japanese exchange student for a couple weeks and they have problems saying the "L" sound.
He would make a "correct" phone call to his parents, and other such words.

Ever try to explain a hard egg vs. a soft egg for breakfast when your house guests did not speak English??? We hosted 3 young male College students from Vera Cruz for 3 days while we lived in Flour Bluff, Tx. and that one thing was the hardest to explain. Our English language can be a challenge to others in our small world.

Thanks for the laugh this morning.
