I have to admit at one time I collected them and have a full curio cabinet of them. I have not bought any in a long time though.

I have the one my 43 year old son used to love. Last time he visited, I drug out Pooh Bear and asked him if he wanted to take Pooh home with him. He said that he was too old for such things, to just toss it.
After DS had left, couldn't find Pooh bear anywhere, but later found him deep in a storage closet, where DS had stuck him!!!!

I don't collect them, but I still have my childhood one, given to me when I was two (I am 65 now) He lost his growl years and years ago, but otherwise, he looks good for his age.

i laughed when i read that. my son left his teddy behind when he went out to be a grown-up.

he "doesn't want it", but argued with me when i tried to claim it as mine.
