Default Can someone help me with a Pinterest question?

I am looking at quilt patterns on there,but all I see is where someone "pinned" them.How do you find the patterns????

You click on the picture to find the source of the original pin. If it came from a blog or forum usually you can find info about it. Sometimes it has taken me many websites and repins to find the original source.

Many times there is no pattern -- it may be a unique design posted on Flicrk. Or sometimes the photo is posted for inspiration only, because the pinner liked the general concept, or the color scheme, or the quilting motif.

If there is no pattern, look at the picture closely. Sometimes you can figure out how it is made and how to piece the blocks.

After you click on the picture it will open up and at the top will be a bar with a “Pin It” button, a “Like” button, a "visit site" or "image” button, a “send” button, and a “share” button. If there is a “visit site” button, click on it and you may be able to find the pattern, if there is just an “image” button you will only find the origin of the picture.

That is what I don't like about pinterest! Hate trying to figure out which picture might have a link to the pattern!

very helpful... I belong to Pinterest but I don't use it very often... I'll take Irishgal's suggestions to mind next time I visit Pinterest website.
