Default Christmas ordering

Watch what you buy online, some sellers are shrink wrapping their products. I ordered A Christmas Nighttime or what ever blanket for my son for a gift at work. It was shrink wrapped. one of those very soft cuddly blankets but big wrinkles. I tried misting it with water and pressing with a cloth over the fabric (polyester fluff) and wrinkles stayed. I ended up washing it and drying it a tad in the dryer. Much better. Still, the top is smaller than the backing so it naturally wants to wrinkle.
anyway, just saying, watch for the words "shrink wrapped".

I don't see why that would be a problem, other than the one specific product you purchased. I can't blame the sellers, shipping has gotten so expensive, they have to do whatever they can to reduce the costs.

If your blanket is polyester, it won't shrink, so you should be able to wash and dry it just fine.

I did wash it. Looks much better if you don't let the light shine on it. the wrinkle lines are there but not so evident.

It could have been shrink wrapped for months before being ordered and shipped.
