A Christmas tablerunner from my new friend
A wonderful board member sent me this tablerunner as a surprise! It just so happened, that this person sent me this without knowing that I was going through the grieving process of losing a beloved pet, so her gift was incredibly helpful and meaningful.
Lisa: I wanted to say Thanks ever so much for sending this unexpected gift of a tablerunner. We do have many things in common, and I'm so glad we've been corresponding. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Here is the photo of your lovely gift to me, placed in my livingroom. It looks as though I planned it out!

It was our 13 year old cat, Brooke. She'd been diagnosed with advanced cancer on a Friday. Then we decided to have her put down on Sunday. The poor old girl had a tumor in her abdomen, and had stopped eating, which along with cuddling, was one of her favorite things to do. She had the face of an angel and fur as silky as an angora rabbit. Plus she had been my quilting companion, and her photo made it on here a few times when I was simply trying to show a photo of a quilt top

So sorry to hear of your loss of Brooke. Kitties are great quilting companions and never complain about the color combinations - mine don't anyway. This is of little comfort right now but she's at the Rainbow Bridge waiting for you playing with my Tigger who's waiting for me. My Tigger went to the Bridge when he stopped eating after being diagnosed with a tumor.
