I just cut out circles the size I wanted and marked 1/4" seam to turn under, pinned it on the spot and did needle turn appliqué. My material was prewashed. I don't think I did anything else. I don't know why you would get puckers.

I have failed in getting my circles in pictures and I do understand why. It isn't really quilting it is sewing. So General ChitChat is where my t shirts stay. Ta!
