Every time I think of this I think of the time I was cleaning out a computer for a friend that is an earth science teacher in middle school. As I was cleaning she was explaining that all of the dust I was getting out was about 80% dead skin cells from people. I almost had to run for the bathroom. How Gross!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks. I just looked at the back of the CPU - the gunk was thick enough for me to get the vacuum cleaner out right away and vacuum!

I'm looking at mine now. It needs a good cleaning too. Thanks for the tip.

I clean my home pc fairly often. Not a laptop. It gets disgusting. And, I always bump my head on the underside of my desk. :0D

Thank you for letting us know this. I clean my sewing machines a lot but forgot about this baby. I looked in the side and see little fuzz bunnies so tomorrow I open the side and clean it out. And I bought a disc cleaner to clean the disc players on it. Again, way to go Marsye

Good advice! My fridge stopped running a few weeks back, and I was thinking Iwould have to buy a new one...it was just clogged with pet hair....ick! Cleaned it, and it works great.

I discovered this when my computer kept shutting off. I thought it was dying of old age. Then I actually looked in it and - Wow!!! Was totally full of dust and dog hair! Works fine ever since!
