Default It's Friday!!

Yeah!!! I have spent a week hearing about regulations, fire codes, life safety, and enviornment of care....it is all coming out of my ears. LOL. Now I get to leave this lovely city and travel home!

Tomorrow is my future daughter-in-law's wedding shower......after that she and I and her mama all have plans to go out for a few margaritas to celebrate.

Good for you, enjoy.
On the weekends I clean, sew and do laundry, both days. I'm use to washing once a week and devide it up, three loads each day. I need to clean both days but, I don't. I save the floors for Sunday. I hope to get a quilt top done by Sunday evening and finish it up during the week. My plans don't always work out as I want.

I have got to attack my house!! Literally! How can so many dishes get dirty when I live alone??? I do believe some little gremlins come while I'm asleep and have a party! Just wish they would hire a clean up crew!!

I've indulged in the occasional anti-housework daydream and have decided if I ever get to the point in my life where I live alone, I'm eating off paper plates.

That won't work!! you will still have all of the pots, pans, silverware and glasses. I agree with "Nanamoms" The Gremlins are here! The gremlins are here!

I spent my week getting to know 117 new 6th graders and some of their parents. Busy week but a good one. Lots of housekeeping type stuff done this week, not a lot of teaching. Next week we start teaching!!!! (This weekend I have a playdate with my German Shepherd, a rescue trip to take a bluetick hound about 2 hours to her new home and we're exploring the town square up near where Miss Bluetick ends up. Sunday, I am doing NOTHING!!!!!!)

I don't know where to begin. My house will be crawling away if I don't do something. My cocktail table is covered with what I thought were scraps of fabric, but some are bigger than that, and I am trying to sort through it. I have to work on a major four quilt project. Laundry, I will leave until Sunday, and rush through it. I need to hit the post office, and have a baseball game invitation for tonight. I don't like baseball, but was invited to the game, and barbeque from Quest lab, so I commited myself.. and am taking others with me..
Think I'll bang on the dog house, as the dog is snoozing.. Rough life.. Dog house is under my desk, and the a/c is on..
Carpe Diem.. Seize the day..

Hmm, that's a good point. And I don't care much for those awful, bland, microwavable dinners. Going out to eat would defeat the purpose of having more time to quilt.... such a conundrum!!!
