How nice to have some alone time. Don't you feel sorry for people that can't figure out what to do for alone time?

Enjoy your alone time. I like to have hubby go for a couple of days but am always glad when he comes home. Wouldn't want to be without him all the time.

I used to love it when hubby left to go hunting for a week, I could do whatever I wanted when I wanted..........then we moved to Alabama. So now when he goes hunting, I go back to Iowa with him and visit family. Don't get me wrong, I love spending time with my family. But I sure wish he would find a hunting or fishing pal down here, I need my alone time! I want my cake & to eat it too...........lol.

Absolutely! MY DIL has a hissy fit whenever her husband goes hunting for a week, also has a hissy fit when son has to travel for work. Of course, he does everything for her including laundry & cooking meals. She sleeps all day while the kids are at school.

Love venison. My students would bring me venison every year or so.

So far the quilting party of one is doing just fine. Finished piecing a lap quilt top on Sunday. Had to take a rest from all the stitchin' last night. Sore from the neck down to the finger tips. Too many hours bent over the sewing machine a/k/a "Sir Chugs-a-Lot". Thanks for checking up on me! Tonight is leftovers, a long hot shower and maybe some handquilting.
