Why do so many have to go through their e mail to connect? I just have a sort cut on my desktop and click on it and it opens to main page.Im not understanding the e mail part.

The board offers a collection of new and interesting posts that get sent to your email if you would like. You sign up for it. I usually just type the address in the browser when I come here, but I think some people like the emails because it is a quick overview of what's new to the boards.

    Cheers!

As far as I know, I think you have to sign up for the Newsletter (I'm not sure about this), and then the Newsletter will appear as a post in your email.

Also, when you reply to a post, you will receive an email notice when anyone else replies to that same post after you do. If you click on that email notice to read that other person's post, you will continue to receive email notices when future replies are posted. If you don't click on the notice, you won't get any more emails about that particular subject.

If this is incorrect, I hope someone will correct me, but this is the way it seems to me. So I can connect through email this way.

I also have the Board in my Favorites and connect that way, too.

Except for the message digest for the day the only e-mails I get are in response to posts I've made or wanted to watch.

    Enjoy yor day all!
