Default Dallas Quilt Show

We were planning on going to Dallas for 3 days (mini anniversary trip and DH on spring break) and go to Dallas Quilt Show, Ikea store and visit a friend. How is the weather there? We live 100 miles to the east and have gotten about 8-9 inches so far and more predicted through Sat. The show is at Market Hall. I have kept an eye on Dallas weather also but need some idea from people who live there.we do not want to travel in bad weather.

I have checked weather sites, but wanted some feedback from locals.

March weather is Dallas is rarely (never) snowy! You might have a range of temps from quite warm to wish-I-had-a-jacket but you will likely only have rain to worry about at this time of year. Just keep in mind how much you want to lug around with you during the show.

Haven't been for many years, wish I were going with you.

We have had rain all week and it is flooding in the low areas and by the lakes. We are to have intermittent rain until Sunday, otherwise it is warm and cloudy. Yes, I would bring a light sweater or jacket.

Well it is supposed to be raining through Saturday (I think that was the latest) but Sunday it is supposed to be sunny. I will be going on Sat this year but Sun is normally the day I prefer to go -way less crowded. My mom and her Sr oup went today.

We traveled up from Oklahoma City today and had a wonderful day. I spent a few hours at the quilt show and finished my day at IKEA, a couple of hundred dollars poorer. Bought several organizational items for my sewing room. Hope you were able to attend the show. I really enjoyed myself.
