That's beautiful! Would you mind sharing the hat pattern? I make hats for a local hospital in need and would love to add that one to my patterns.

You know I was afraid that someone would ask me for a pattern...this is what I did..I went online, on You Tube and googled baby hats/bonnets...then I found one I decided to try...... Crochet Baby Beanie- Half Double Crochet...it is by Tjw1963...Teresa has lots of great tutes on You Tube...

after I got a few rows into it..it looked small, so I undid it and just increased a little more until I was liking the size...mine turned out about 6 inches from top to brim and 17 around...

I am hoping I am going to be able to make another as I should have been writing down my info..which I didn't...then when I got to the end...I decided to do a picot edge, like on the sweater and blanket and I just fiddled until I liked it..I folded it because I wanted to add ribbon to match the other pieces and I love how it turned out...

the flower is from one of my books ...called 101 Stitches to Crochet...not really a book, but a box of cards with crochet patterns..this flower is called Orchid Blossom..
Base Ring: 6ch, join with sl st.
Petal: [6ch, 1sc into 2nd ch from hook, 1 hdc into next ch, 1 dc into next ch, 1 hdc into next ch, 1 sc into next ch, sl st into ring] 8 times
Fasten off.

Let me know if this doesn't make sense...
