    Outline last. I like to outline as I go -- that's a lie -- I prefer pictures that do not need outlining -- but if has to be outlined I hate to do it all at once.

    Cross stitch first then outline.

    When I start to cross stitch I start right smack in the middle and work outwards. That way I know it is going to be centered correctly on the fabric.

    always and forever, do the outlining last!! That will be so cute.. I love it.. At least the outlines should come out pretty easily.. or just go ahead and stitch, the outline again.. probably won't hurt a thing.
