I made a Time Share exchange for Fairfield Glade in Crossville, TN. Now my daughter is giving me grief because she feels there is nothing to do there for a week with her 3 kids. (6-13). I know there is a lot of golf of which they do not do. Do any of you know of this area and have any suggestions?

I was there once and stayed with a friend at her time share condo so we could go do the "200 mile yard sale"... Crossville is a lovely, safe community. Someone who worked at the condo told us there was virtually no crime. I went out jogging in the mornings and saw lots of people walking dogs. There was a really nice fitness center and pool that we were allowed to use. I really didn't venture out much farther than that, but it's a beautiful place to walk, run or ride bikes. How about just spending time together as a family? Cooking... board games... reading.
I'm sure a google search or the local Chamber of Commerce could give you a run down of things to do in the area.

Nashville is one hour 45 minutes away, easy day trip to go tour Graceland. Pigeon Forge is 2 hours in the opposite direction. Lots to do there, including Dollywood. Also 2 hours from Smoky Mountain Natl Park, which is just beautiful. She could easily pack the kids up and do an overnight camping with them, the campgrounds in the park are breathtaking.

Graceland is in Memphis not Nashville. There are lots to do in Nashville also. Pigeon Forge is outside of Chattanooga.
Tell your Daughter and three girls to find their own activities.
